While Keeping Up With the Kardashians has had an 18-season run so far, not everyone is ready to see the famous and iconic reality series come to a close. There’s no way of knowing how the final vote truly went over with each Kardashian-Jenner member, of course. However, longtime pals Khloe Kardashian and Scott Disick seem to be on the same page for one crucial reason, reports Page Six.

Reportedly, neither Khloe Kardashian nor Scott Disick were ready to give up that longtime KUWTK paycheck. In contrast, various inside sources for the publication claim that Kylie and Kendall Jenner were both onboard with calling it quits.

And Kanye West had already alluded to the Twitter-verse that he didn’t want his wife to continue the show, and neither did he. ‘Ye said so before the axing announcement was even out there. Needless to say, Kanye was seemingly all for the KUWTK curtain call.

However, two of the show’s most outspoken cast members apparently felt a little differently. It’s not clear when they made their opinions known to the family, but sources for Page Six claim that Scott and Khloe see the E! series as an “easy and reliable payday.” And who wouldn’t want that, right?

Not everything is about money, but members of the family obviously want to keep that cash flowing. As the publication notes, many of the Kar-Jenners have turned their side projects into sources of primary income, no longer “needing” the show. These days, Kylie and Kendall are both collecting way fatter stacks of cash from their other professional endeavors, made possible by their stint on the series, of course.

On top of that, the show’s ratings began to dwindle, and family members like Kourtney Kardashian have  voiced needing more of a private life for themselves and for the sake of their children much more than the money.

That family factor alone likely made the show less and less of an “easy” payday for some, no matter how “reliable” it might’ve been for everyone involved.
