Jordyn Woods’ life turned upside down after her cheating scandal with Tristan Thompson
Scandals are nothing new for the Kardashian-Jenner family, but the cheating scandal between Jordyn Woods and Tristan Thompson shook the family to the core as Kylie Jenner’s best friend was caught in a compromising situation with the father of Khloe Kardashian’s daughter. Woods opened up in a recent interview how time has allowed her to begin the healing process and examine her role in the situation.
According to People, Woods sat down with Natalie Manuel Lee on the YouTube show Now with Natalie to talk about what this experience has been like for her. The scandal hit everyone in her life, including her family and friends, and so for a while she found herself pushing everyone away.
“I deleted everything off of my phone,” Jordyn explained. “I wouldn’t respond to anyone. I responded to about two people. I pushed people away that probably shouldn’t have been pushed away but I just couldn’t trust anyone. Everything in my life changed.”
The first step in healing came by taking a long, hard look at the entire situation to understand how Jordyn’s actions contributed to the situation. By owning her role, the healing could begin. “Things happen, and that’s what makes us human,” she said. The key for her was finding accountability for her actions. “You just have to accept what actually happened and then you can let it go,” she added.

Woods was once a member of the Kar-Jenner inner circle, at times living with Kylie Jenner and appearing as a model for Khloe’s Good American clothing line. She has not fully reconciled with Jenner or Kardashian and instead has been focusing on forging her own path with appearances on television along with her own business deals.
For Jordyn Woods, much of the journey over the past few months has been about self-discovery. “The amount of strength I’ve gained in this year alone, nothing else could have shaped me to the person I am today,” she said.
