The Masked Singer: Could Rob Kardashian be under Crocodile’s mask?

As fans speculate about the identity of Crocodile on The Masked Singer, could the answer be in Keeping Up with the Kardashian star Rob Kardashian?

The Masked Singer is back with yet another crop of celebrities donning elaborate new costumes and taking to the stage in hopes of becoming the next Masked Singer champion! Among the colorful characters to take the stage in the second hour of the season, which introduced viewers to Group B’s contestants, was the Crocodile.

The vibrant character quickly won over the judges with his powerful vocals and heartwarming clue package that left fans puzzled over who might be hiding under Crocodile’s mask. While the judges seem to believe it’s a famous boy band member under the Crocodile’s mask, could it in reality be Keeping Up with the Kardashians star Rob Kardashian?

Who is Crocodile on The Masked Singer: Could it be Rob Kardashian?

While in past seasons, FOX’s reality series has been a bit more forthcoming in doling out clues to the identities of the celebrities behind its masked singers, season 4 has seen the series up its game by being much more cryptic with its clues — as evident with the premiere of the Group B contestants. Although the clues were broad and general, we can’t help but to feel many apply to Rob Kardashian:

The Clues

• Strength: Tough skin
• Weakness: Quick to snap
• Grew up in Hollywood surrounded by heartache and instability which forced him to develop a thick skin.
• On joining the show and taking up the Crocodile mantle: “I’ve had to have tough skin my whole life to survive because I’m really sensitive on the inside and being anonymous allows me to share my true self with the world.”

Much like the Crocodile, Rob Kardashian has grown up in Hollywood and has long been under the public eye thanks to Keeping Up with the Kardashians and his father’s role in the O.J. Simpson trial beforehand. His family has also been through a lot of ups and downs, with Rob and his sisters suffering their share of heartaches over the years in the romance department.

Because of his status in the public eye, Rob has indeed had to develop thick skin and has always been viewed as one of the more sensitive members of the family. In fact, its his own insecurities that have kept him out of the public eye in recent years as he’s struggled with his weight and mental health.

Then there’s the fact that the Crocodile’s body size seems to match up with Rob’s current stature, which is always key when it comes to guessing the identity of a masked star.

Of course there were other clues that don’t seem to have a connection to Rob such as a hint about a special set of keys reversing his game forever and the subtle presence of the Italian flag in the clue package. One would also think that if Rob had a voice as smooth as Crocodile, momager Kris Jenner likely would have pushed him into pursuing music as a way to capitalize on his talent.

At this point, it’s hard to determine who exactly might be under Crocodile’s mask but there’s no denying Rob Kardashian deserves to be included in the conversation! Plus, who doesn’t want to see a Kardashian on The Masked Singer?
