Just after a year of dating, the couple announced they were expecting their first child together and, nine months later, on April 12, 2018 the couple welcomed their daughter True.

Unfortunately, in the months before True’s birth, the couple’s relationship soured when Tristan was caught up in a cheating scandal leading to their separation.

As any sports fan will know, Tristan Thompson makes a living as a Center in the NBA, where he makes quite the decent pay in the league.

Tristan was drafted by the Cleveland Cavaliers in the first round of the 2011 NBA draft and quickly made an impact on the team. After his rookie agreement expired, Tristan agreed to a new five-year deal with the team in 2015 which was reported to be worth an impressive $82 million!

While his deal will expire after the 2020 season and it remains to be seen what sort of deal he might land next, Tristan is rumored to have earned $18.5 million under the final year in his contract and is doing just fine financially.
