Just when we thought we’d heard about everything, Kim Kardashian is revealing even more about what’s gone on behind closed doors with husband Kanye West this year. According to Cosmopolitan, Kim opened up to GRAZIA for their cover story about her husband’s “scary” experience with COVID-19, what caring for Kanye was like.

Considering the severity of this reveal, why is this the first we’re hearing about Kanye’s COVID diagnosis? Kim broke her silence on that, too.

Kim Kardashian admitted Kanye’s experience with coronavirus was “so scary,” and went on to reveal why they decided to keep his condition so hush-hush.

According to the SKIMS founder, they weren’t sure what they were dealing with at first. Kim explained, “Kanye had it way at the beginning, when nobody really knew what was going on,” adding, “It was so scary and unknown.”

Apparently, Kim was playing it extra safe. As the publication notes, the couple were alone in their home with their four kids. According to the KUWTK star, the downside of all that social distance was having “no one else in the house” to help her out when Kanye fell ill.

Kim recalled, “I had to go and change his sheets and help him get out of bed when he wasn’t feeling good.” The reality star also said the real challenge was facing the “unknown” everyday and the tasks and precautions that came along without knowing what was happening to her husband.

“Changing his sheets with gloves and a face shield was really a scary time,” she added.

We don’t doubt it.

Fans might not be pleased with their choice to keep Kanye’s experience with COVID-19 so quiet. But in all fairness, the couple already had plenty to deal with regarding their private life. And most of their dirty laundry remains in the glaring media spotlight 24/7 right now.

No matter the fate of their marriage, what truly matters is that Kanye has recovered from the deadly virus. Still, through sickness and in health, it seems pretty clear that Kim Kardashian seriously plans to stand by her man. Whatever it takes.
