Royal Insider: I can’t see Meghan Markle ever wanting a way back [to royal life]

The odds of Meghan Markle returning to the royal family grow more unlikely every day, so much so that insiders can’t see her ever wanting to make her way back. 

From the moment Meghan Markle and Prince Harry decided to step away from their royal duties, one of the biggest questions on the minds of royal watchers has been whether the couple might ever return to their old posts.

While some brushed the pair’s exit off as a phase early on, with each month that has passed it’s become more and more clear Harry and Meghan are focused on the future and not on looking in their rearview mirrors.

They’ve put down roots in California, are enjoying their quieter lives off the royal circuit and have been actively pursuing new business ventures such as their Netflix deal. While they have only the best intentions in mind, they’ve unfortunately burned quite a few bridges along the way through their actions — particularly with their recent political comments. As such, it’s starting to look more and more likely Meghan, in particular, might not be looking to return to royal life.

According to Page Six, Prince Harry is expected to make his way out to the UK to meet with his grandmother, Queen Elizabeth, and it seems he’ll be doing so without Meghan by his side.

The fact that Meghan is not expected to join Harry for the visit has many royal watchers’ curiosity piqued as does the talking points for Harry’s meeting with the Queen; however, royal insiders don’t seem to be as surprised.

"“Harry and Meghan have burnt some significant bridges that may be beyond repair,” royal biographer Penny Junor told The Mirror. “Right now, that doesn’t seem to bother them. And I can’t see Meghan ever wanting a way back.”"

In all fairness, can anyone blame Meghan for not having an interest in returning to the royal life? From the moment she entered the family, she’s faced scrutiny both from fellow royals and Brits alike making her one of the most trolled people in the world last year. She’s clearly thriving since walking away and who can blame her for not wanting to return to how things were before her exit.
