Where Sofia Richie stands on dating after her split from Scott Disick

Sofia Richie might be recently single, but that doesn’t mean she’s truly ready to mingle after breaking up with Scott Disick. According to Us Weekly, Sofia is riding solo and that’s how she wants to be. This status might even be how she needs to be for a while. After all, truly moving on takes time.

Reportedly, Sofia’s taking all the time she needs these days. A source for the publication says that the star is still “healing” right now and currently, she’s in no mood to start dating anyone in a serious way. After nearly three years together, the 22-year-old model and the 37-year-old reality star called it quits earlier this year.

When the summer heat hit, it looked like the former couple might be getting back together. For one hot July moment, they reportedly reconciled. But that was over in a flash.

As we previously reported, both exes were spotted playing the field right away, or at least hanging out with someone new. Scott was seen with Kourtney Kardashian on more than one occasion and most recently, he’s been re-linked to Bella Banos. And Sofia was reportedly not happy about it.

Still, Sofia Richie was also seen with a guy here and there, including Jaden Smith. As far as we know, nothing was really going on and the rapper claimed they’re “just homies.”

By August, Richie and Disick were officially done, for better or worse. So why would Sofia be out and about one minute and now taking a sudden sabbatical from the dating scene?  According to the source for Us Weekly, things might not have ended so amicably the final time these two split.

The source says, “Sofia really pushed to make things work between them after they initially broke up,” adding, “Scott officially called it off recently and they are no longer speaking.”

The source also claims that Richie’s family thinks she’s better off without the Flip it Like Disick star. And either way, Sofia reportedly plans to focus on her career, “putting more energy” into her modeling and acting endeavors as she continues to fly solo.

And when it comes to fresh breakup wounds, maybe “moving on” was happening a little too fast for Richie. So she’s slowing things down, for now, which is totally fair.
