Rapper Kanye West lovingly wishes his wife, Kim Kardashian, a happy 40th birthday on Twitter earlier on Wednesday.

Early Wednesday morning, rapper Kanye West wished his wife, Kim Kardashian, a happy 40th birthday on Twitter.

“Been doing empty stadiums,” The Yeezy creator wrote in reference to the COVID-19 regulations. “Happy 40th birthday!!! I love you so much,.”

The birthday wish featured a throwback photo of the couple when the Yeezus rapper first proposed to Kim back in October 2013. Getting down on one knee, Kanye had proposed in front of Kim’s friends and family at the San Francisco’s AT&T Park on her 33rd birthday.

The Chicago native rented out the stadium just for the occasion, as the rows of empty seats were filled with their close family-relatives and friends. In the photo, the pair holds each other as they locked lips on the pitcher’s mound.

After just a year later, the two tied the knot at Forte di Belvedere in Florence, Italy almost a year after having their first child together, North.

A source told US weekly that Kim is “in one of the best places she’s ever been in life, and is more fulfilled now with her businesses and family than ever before.” They also mentioned that Kim is looking forward to being a hands-on mom with the ending of Keeping Up With the Kardashians.

As of late, the It couple’s relationship has been on the rocks, as the “Jesus is King” rapper’s tumultuous Twitter outbreaks have sparked controversy on his views and the topic of mental health. West’s first presidential rally in South Carolina also turned heads, as the rapper could not hold back his tears when revealing he and the Skims founder had talked about aborting their first daughter.

Throughout his rampant Twitter rants, the 43-year-old also mentioned topics such as wanting to divorce Kim, abortion and the constriction the music industry has on artists. The mother of 4 had stayed silent for the most part, only once addressing the publicly that the Yeezy designer struggles with mental health — and how it affected the whole family.

Since then, the “Life of Pablo” artist has deleted the tweets, and another source has told US Weekly that “despite their ups and downs, the social media mogul is still ‘holding onto her marriage‘ with the Yeezy designer.”
