Rob Kardashian will no longer be overshadowed by Kirby Jenner

While Kirby Jenner might have been all the rave in early 2020, but it’s Rob Kardashian who has gotten the last laugh over the fictional Kardashian brother.

When it comes to the Kardashians, one can honestly confess that Rob Kardashian is often the forgotten member of the family.

It’s not because he doesn’t bring anything to the table or that fans don’t enjoy his presence, it’s simply that Rob himself tends to keep a lower profile than his more social media savvy sisters.

Although Rob has always enjoyed taking the backseat to his sisters in staying out of the public eye, that didn’t make seeing the Kardashian-Jenner gush over their fictitious brother Kirby Jenner any easier.

To recap, this May, the Kardashian-Jenner family introduced a new member of their family to the world with Kendall Jenner’s twin brother making his big debut via a self-titled Quibi original. In promoting the show — which followed the misadventures and hijinks of the fictional Jenner brother — Rob’s mother and sisters couldn’t stop talking about Kirby.

It was borderline cringe-worthy how frequent Kirby popped up in conversation on the family’s feed and left many feeling as though Rob was being wrongfully overshadowed. Fortunately for Rob, Kirby seems to have turned out to be nothing more than a flash in the pan.

While the Kardashian-Jenner family put their full weight behind promoting Kirby Jenner on social media, Kendall’s twin brother’s 15 minutes of fame appears to be officially over.

On Oct. 21, 2020, The Wall Street Journal revealed Quibi, the recently launched streaming service which Kirby Jenner called home, would be shutting down after just six months of existence. Although there is a chance that some of the service’s shows could find life elsewhere, it’s expected many will not continue and we have a sneaking suspicion Kirby Jenner won’t be one of those shows.

With Quibi going under, we’ve likely heard the last from Kirby Jenner giving Rob Kardashian the last laugh in the battle between the Kardashian-Jenner brothers. Now if only the Kardashian family could focus their attention on helping show Rob some love more frequently. Hey, he just launched a new hot sauce so maybe they can start there?
