As the current season of Keeping Up With the Kardashians continues, the COVID-19 pandemic continues to become more of a threat. In the first few episodes, which were filmed in the spring, the famous family is afraid to travel, and start taking safety precautions such as social distancing and washing their hands frequently.

In the upcoming episode which airs on Thursday, October 29, however, things take a turn for the more serious. As seen in a newly-released teaser, Khloe Kardashian tests positive for coronavirus.

In the new episode, the sisters are all filming from their homes separately, as quarantine had officially begun at that time. The clip, which you can see below, opens up with Kim Kardashian explaining how worried the family is over Khloe being sick. She says they are patiently waiting to hear back about the test results.

Kris Jenner is then on screen, recording from what appears to be her iPhone, explaining that when she heard Khloe was sick she called as many doctors as she could get ahold of. Then, Khloe appears on screen, also recording from her phone, revealing that she did in fact test positive for COVID-19.

Khloe Kardashian goes on to describe her symptoms, saying she was vomiting, experiencing shakes and headaches, as well as excessive coughing that would burn her throat. She concludes her video by assuring everyone that it’s going to be okay, and that as long as the family follows the protocols, they should be fine.

Clearly, Khloe is defeated in the clip, but thankfully she keeps up a positive attitude about the whole thing. Fortunately by now, we know the mom-of-one has recovered and is happy and healthy. We’re sure she will be jumping onto Twitter to speak more about her recovery process after the new episode airs.

Thankfully for Khloe Kardashian and most celebrities in general, being able to get tested for COVID-19 and be treated is relatively easy. Of course the symptoms are no joke, but many people in the world aren’t so lucky. Over 200,000 deaths in America have been reported associated with the disease, so we must please remember to continue to take the pandemic seriously.
