Larsa Pippen shades Kim Kardashian with not so subtle Instagram post

There is no love lost between Larsa Pippen and her former BFF Kim Kardashian, as evident by the shade Larsa threw Kim’s way with a not so subtle Instagram diss.

It’s never fun seeing the relationship between two former friends turn sour, but sometimes there’s no stopping a friendship from taking a turn for the worst. This seems to be the case with Larsa Pippen and Kim Kardashian.

While Larsa and Kim were once as thick as thieves, there seems to now only be bad blood between the two former besties. Gone are the days of the pair hitting the town with one another and showing support for each other on social media. In fact, things are so icy between Kim and Larsa the two don’t even follow one another on social media any longer.

So perhaps, it should come as no surprise at all that Larsa decided to shade her former bestie on Instagram this Halloween.

As anyone who follows Kim on Instagram knows, one of Kim’s many Halloween costumes this year was dedicated to 2020’s biggest pop culture phenomenon: Tiger King.

Joining her bestie Jonathan “Foodgod” Cheban, Kim paid homage to the docuseries which captivated her and millions of others this spring. Rocking a costume inspired by Carole Baskin, Kim was joined by her four little “tigers” and pal Jonathan, who channeled his inner Joe Exotic. It seems Kim wasn’t the only one feeling inspired by the Netflix series, as Larsa and her pals decided to draw inspiration from the series as well.

Shortly after Kim posted her Tiger King inspired costume, Larsa took to her own Instagram and posted her own Halloween photo drawing inspiration from the series.

In sharing the photo, Larsa threw some not so subtle shade at her former bestie in making it absolutely clear to her followers she was not keeping up with Kim.

“Trick or treat! We went to a Halloween party days ago and I’m not trying to keep up with anyone else’s costumes. Hope your Halloween is as sweet as you are,” Larsa wrote taking a clear dig at Kim in making sure fans knew she could care less that her former bestie had also drawn inspiration from Tiger King this Halloween.

Larsa could have easily shared the photo with a more simple caption such as “Trick or treat! Hope your Halloween is as sweet as you are.” Instead, she took a not so subtle dig at Kim in making it clear she did not want to be compared to her bestie with a clear play at words.

Ironically, Larsa’s shade only seemed to backfire as fans quickly jumped at the chance to point out who wore it better — and, unfortunately for Larsa, Kim’s costume seemed to be the resounding favorite.

“Kim wore it better,” wrote one follower in comparing the two costumes. However, that was one of the more polite comments. As another follower commented, “This the knock off version lol.”
