Kris Jenner weighs in on that Robert Kardashian hologram gift from Kanye West

Kim Kardashian’s top secret (and highly controversial) 40th birthday trip turned out to be full of surprises for everyone. Almost daily, more birthday bash surprises continued to be revealed, including some of the one of a kind gifts the reality star received.

It can’t be easy shopping for a mega famous and wealthy woman like Kim Kardashian, who practically has everything she could want, wish for, and afford without anyone’s help.

It goes without saying that Kanye West has never been the type of guy, rapper, or spouse to shy away from big challenges, especially when it comes to picking out uniquely big gifts for his loved ones.

So for the SKIMS founder’s 40th birthday, her hubby once again gave the reality star something no one saw coming, not even Kim. And while the gift was notably unique, more than anything, it was incredibly sentimental.

Most of us are still “digesting” it right now, including Kris Jenner, it seems.

In case you missed it, Kanye presented his wife with a hologram of her late father, Robert Kardashian, for her birthday this year. According to E! News, Kim wasn’t the only one that the gift turned out to be special for. Apparently, Kim’s mom was especially touched by the gesture. And that makes sense.

Of Kanye’s gift giving, Jenner told Andy Cohen while a guest on his show Andy Cohen Live that she believes the rapper has a gift of his own when it comes to selecting special presents, even going as far as calling her famous son-in-law the “king of gifts.” That’s quite the endorsement, coming from Kris Jenner.

Kanye, now dubbed “king of gifts” by Kris, seems to have dreamed up this futuristic present with the entire Kardashian clan in mind, which is pretty sweet. And coming up with something to be shared by the fam, incorporating Robert Kardashian, likely only made the family moment that much more special for Kim.

Kris recapped the events of Kim’s big day and Kanye’s birthday gift reveal by saying, “You know, we didn’t really know what was happening because it was such a small group, inner circle. Just our family and a few friends. And when we were summoned to this room and said you know, ‘Kanye has a gift.'”

Kris went on to explain that when the hologram started and Robert Kardashian appeared, the whole family was incredibly moved. “All you could hear was each other crying,” Kris admitted.

The iconic momager said the touching moment was “really, really emotional.” And no one doubts that it really, really was. As the publication notes, Jenner was so moved, she took a moment to herself to “digest” what just happened.

Chances are, Kris Jenner and fam will all be “digesting” this special birthday gift for years to come. I know I will.
