Don’t expect Kris Jenner to join Dancing with the Stars anytime soon

Would Kris Jenner ever compete on Dancing with the Stars? The Keeping Up with the Kardashians star has weighed in and it seems unlikely.

With Keeping Up with the Kardashians nearing its conclusion, all eyes have been on momager Kris Jenner.

From the moment news first broke that the family had decided to bring the show to a close with its twentieth season, fans have been anxiously waiting to see what Kris Jenner might have planned next. For many, the speculation has been that Kris will end up jumping from one reality series to another and it seems we can now cross yet another show off the list of potential post-KUWTK gigs for Kris.

As much as we’d love to see Kris Jenner take to the Dancing with the Stars ballroom to compete as part of the show’s next cast, Kris has made it abundantly clear the long-running dancing series is not likely in her future.

Appearing on DWTS pro dancer Cheryl Burke’s Pretty Messed Up podcast, Kris was asked whether she would ever consider putting on her dancing shoes to join the cast. Although Kris never definitively ruled an appearance out of the question, she made it clear that she’d only come on the show if she could get some early training and plenty of prep beforehand.

"“You know what I would love is if you and I could practice for about three years, get all the dances down and then we could just roll out there. Roll out all the dances and then I’m in.”"

Yeah, we’re pretty sure ABC frowns upon stars learning to dance before competing and it sounds like Kris isn’t game to come onto the show unprepared. It’s a shame as Kris would likely go far in the competition thanks to the size of her fan base and her likable personality. Plus it would be nice to see a Kardashian-Jenner back on the DWTS ballroom!

When was the last time a Kardashian appeared on Dancing with the Stars?

For those curious enough to ask when we last saw a member of the Kardashian-Jenner family compete on the show, one has to go all the way back to 2011! That’s right, it’s been nearly a decade since a Kardashian has competed on the show that family member, ironically, being Rob Kardashian who tends to keep a much lower profile these days.

Appearing as part of the show’s thirteenth season, Rob competed alongside Burke with the pair making it all the way to finale night where he placed second to actor J.R. Martinez. Rob was only the second Kardashian-Jenner to ever compete, the first being his older sister Kim Kardashian who competed as part of the show’s season 7 cast way back in 2008.
