In a new clip from this week’s Keeping Up With the Kardashians episode, Scott Disick lets Kourtney Kardashian know exactly where he’s at with his recovery and how he got to to where he finds himself now.

In the teaser clip, Disick discusses a surprising amount of personal things with his ex, especially the impact that quarantining and the general state of things has had on his mental state, his recovery, and ultimately his decision to return to rehab.

Scott tells Kourtney, “This whole COVID, staying in, no structure, it just doesn’t work for me.” He goes on to say that the current state of the world has been making him feel like he’s unable to handle “staying home, not working.”

The revealing chat with his baby mama didn’t stop there. In the clip, Disick also shares his activities as of late, admitting that his day-to-day mostly includes trying to keep himself extra busy, no matter the cost.

According to Scott, “all” he’s been doing is “trying to find things to do.” His list of recent to-dos include finding a new “sanctuary,” in an attempt to relax at home.

You can watch the full clip below.

For Lord Disick, that meant renting a house in Malibu “for an escape,” he tells his Kourtney in the clip, going on to reveal that the paparazzi ruined his plan. Scott claims he simply can’t “handle having nothing to do” during lockdown, which is not so hard to relate to, even if coping with COVID-19-induced cabin fever by buying a luxurious Malibu home is.

In the end, Scott Disick’s decision to check into a facility came down to self-awareness, it seems.

In the clip, he admits that he simply recognized he wasn’t in a good place. Scott confesses, “I started feeling more and more anxious, more and more depressed, like I was going to do something bad if I didn’t figure something out or take myself out of this position.”

He adds to Kourtney, “I think now is the time to work on it.”

Agreed. Scott saying he was taking “the time” and steps necessary to heal is definitely a positive thing. And it’s nice to see he still has a friend in Kourtney Kardashian at the end of the day. Per usual.
