Despite the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic, Khloe Kardashian announced the annual family holiday party will still be taking place — and fans aren’t happy.

Khloe Kardashian falls under attack after confirming the annual family party will likely still take place, despite the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic.

The reality TV star was under fire after breaking the news, just shortly after sister Kim Kardashian’s blowout 40th birthday party on a private island and step-sister Kendall Jenner’s Halloween Party. At the event, the model was seen photographed blowing out a candle next to an unmasked essential worker.

The Revenge Body host received backlash earlier this week when responding to a fan that asked if the black-tie holiday party would be canceled this year.

"“I pray not! I think it will have to be way smaller obviously. And I’m totally fine with that! But we’re definitely celebrating Christmas! It will just have to be small and safe. Maybe do rapid testing before.”"

The state of California’s guidelines prohibit gatherings of over three households. Unless cases were to decrease, this holiday bash isn’t looking to be the smartest idea, as the rates of people testing positive for the virus are only steadily rising.

Khloe Kardashian attacked by fans unhappy with 2020 holiday party plans

The reply immediately received harsh criticism, as many pointed out that fans aren’t able to enjoy Christmas gatherings with their own families. People pointed out that many are struggling to access non-rapid tests, and how other major milestones and events will be canceled due to the pandemic and missed. The famous family has the privilege of affording and getting resources that many others can’t get, Twitter users mentioned when replying under the controversial reply.

Infuriated, one Twitter user said:

"“You know your fans don’t get to have Christmas with their families right? That most people are missing all the milestones this year cause of a pandemic? The selfishness of your fam is really shocking. Y’all keep throwing parties when the rest of the world is locking sh*t down.”"

Cosmopolitan also mentioned a few reactions Khloe’s tweet had already sparked, one user writing, “why is it so hard for y’all to just stay home? not the end of the world to not have a party damn.”

Another tweet read, “you want to know what’s safest? Don’t f*cking have it! Why is this so hard for y’all to understand?? they act like having a party is required like goddamn just eat and watch a movie at home w ur family.”

Khloe’s update on the Kardashian/Jenner’s stance on their Christmas get-together also is ironic, considering the reality star just recently shared that she had tested positive for the virus earlier this year during an episode trailer of Keeping Up with the Kardashians.

With the angry responses, it’s unclear whether or not the family will continue on with the party planning. Throughout the pandemic, their lives seem to have remained the same, un-phased with what’s going on as parties were thrown and trips were taken — but in the event, the holiday bash does go on, all we can do is hope everyone is responsible and safe.
