Rob Kardashian has chosen to honor the legacy of his late father, Robert Kardashian, in a touching tribute. See how Rob honored his late dad. 

Although his time with his children was cut too short with his passing following a battle with cancer, there is absolutely no denying how large of an impact Robert Kardashian Sr. had on his four children. The Kardashian patriarch has been gone for nearly two decades, but his spirit and legacy lives on through his children and grandchildren. It’s also clear, his absence has been weighing heavily on the minds of his children in recent years.

Just last month, Kanye West surprised Kim Kardashian with a hologram of her late father as part of her over-the-top 40th birthday celebration. Now Robert’s son Rob Kardashian has found his own way of celebrating his late father in a much more permanent way.

Rob Kardashian unveils updated tattoo paying tribute to his late father

Although Rob tends to keep his personal life more private, Rob recently returned to Instagram with a new post used to unveil his latest tattoo update to his followers — a tattoo with quite the emotional connection.

As fans know, some years back, Rob paid the ultimate tribute to his father with an incredible tattoo placed upon his forearm featuring the likeness of his late father. However, it seems Rob was recently inspired to update the tattoo with some retouches and added details.

As seen in Rob’s photo, at the heart of the tattoo is a portrait of his late father. Surrounding the photo are lush clouds with rays of sun shining brightly through them as part of a design’s effort to give a heavenly quality to the ink. It’s unclear what new details were added, but given the clearness of the tattoo, it’s clear Rob had the tattoo redone — likely correcting fading caused by the years since he originally got the tattoo.

We honestly love seeing Rob be the first to break debut the stunning update to his tattoo, which seems to have been done by tattoo artist Mister Cartoon, and can’t help but to wonder if Kim’s hologram gift was what inspired him to have the tattoo updated after all this time. Either way, it’s a touching tribute which looks absolutely incredible!
