Meghan Markle has been recognized as one of the hottest celebrity fandoms of 2020 via the annual FanSided 250. 

2020 might have been a bit of a tumultuous year for Meghan Markle, but the Duchess of Sussex and former Suits actress seems to have come out all the stronger on the other side!

After stepping away from her official royal responsibilities at the top of the new year, Meghan has continued to be a force to reckoned with in using her platform to the best of her abilities in shining a light on worthy causes and being a vocal advocate for the voiceless. She’s also managed to position herself for the future by signing a new deal with Netflix to create both documentaries and scripted projects, allowing her to reach an even larger audience.

Her continued strength in the face of adversity coupled with her ongoing activism helped Meghan to rank among the hottest celebrity fandoms of 2020 — and rightfully so.

Meghan continues to be one of the most inspiring figures around with an ability to connect to individuals through her warm yet powerful demeanor.

Take for example how she used her recent miscarriage to start a conversation about mental health and breaking the silence around the issue considered taboo by many. This was something deeply personal which she opened up to the world about in an effort to use her personal hardship to help others by shining a light on the topic.

Meghan is a true shining light in the entertainment industry who is absolutely deserving of ranking as a top celebrity fandom. Our only qualm is that Meghan wasn’t able to break into the Top 100, coming in at No. 140 overall on this year’s list and No. 13 overall among the year’s celebrity fandoms.
