Khloe Kardashian reportedly struggling with long distance relationship she’s in with Tristan Thompson
Khloe Kardashian is reportedly struggling with Tristan’s move to Boston
After so much time together during the pandemic, now that Tristan Thompson has moved to Boston as part of his new deal with the Celtics it looks like Khloe Kardashian is struggling with the distance between them.
Whether or not they’re together, Khloe and Tristan have come a long way in repairing their relationship in recent months. He quarantined with her so that he could be with her and with True, and there’s no question that they’ve all become accustomed to being together. According to a report in Cosmopolitan, sources say that Khloe is finding the adjustment without him to be a “difficult pill to swallow.”
Living together during the unprecedented pandemic shutdown led Khloe and Tristan to grow closer in ways that weren’t possible when the NBA was playing regularly. He was able to be there for her all the time, helping her to watch True while she recovered from her bout with COVID-19. Now that he’s not there with her on a regular basis, it’s probably very hard for her to deal with the absence.
The other aspect of the difficulty in being apart likely stems from the fact that their time together during the pandemic has been like a glimpse into what life could be if they didn’t have to worry about his NBA schedule. Everything was paused, so he didn’t have to be on the road all the time.
Now that he’s in Boston, about to start his career with a new team, Khloe is starting to feel the distance in a much different way than she had before spending all of that time with him.
She recently sold her house in Calabasas, and though moving across the country isn’t ideal considering how close she is to her family, making sure that True is close to her father is important to her so relocating to Boston could be in Khloe’s future. They will be splitting the time between LA and Boston for now, but it’s very possible that Khloe could consider a move at some point in the future.
