What’s going on with Rob Kardashian and Blac Chyna these days? Reportedly, they’re in a much better place than they’ve been in quite some time, and we’re glad to see it.
This week, it was reported that the famously tumultuous exes have reached a custody agreement for their daughter Dream that seems to work for all parties. Perhaps most telling of all, they are said to have reached this new agreement without the court intervening for once. How’s that for progress?
According to Entertainment Tonight, Rob is doing “a great job” co-parenting with ex-fiancé. The custody agreement will reportedly allow the former Keeping Up With the Kardashians star to put his primary focus on being a dad to their four-year-old, and hopefully it will also lay the lengthy drama with Blac Chyna fully to rest.
A source for the publication said that Rob Kardashian’s number one priority “has always been, and continues to be, Dream’s wellbeing.” The source added that the star is an amazing father who is willing to do “anything” for his daughter. And we don’t doubt that one bit!
Entertainment Tonight reveals that the paternity agreement requires the exes to share physical custody of their daughter through an alternating weekly schedule. On top of that, the former couple have agreed to splitting time with their daughter equally during vacations and holidays. Of course, there are a few not-so-surprising conditions built into this agreement. The paperwork reportedly states that neither Rob nor Blac Chyna can be under the influence of alcohol or other substances while Dream is in their care.
Rob and Chyna have certainly come a long way in 2020. As Entertainment Tonight notes, the notoriously private Kardashian sibling filed for primary custody of Dream back in January, and the court battle with his ex wasn’t pretty, to say the least.
At the time, he accused Chyna of “heavy drug and alcohol use,” requesting she undergo drug screenings prior to spending time with Dream. Blac Chyna didn’t take it lightly, and denied the accusations. In the end, Rob wasn’t awarded primary emergency custody.
Moving forward, the future is definitely looking a bit brighter for these co-parents. We’re happy to see they’ve come to a custody agreement that works for all involved. Hopefully, Dream continues to come first for these two and the days of calling out each others’ parenting skills are a thing of the past.
