Kate Middleton taken aback by Meghan Markle’s birthday gift

On Saturday, Jan. 9, Kate Middleton celebrated her 39th birthday surrounded by family with a fun birthday celebration. Like many who have celebrated their birthdays since the beginning of COVID, Kate decided to keep her birthday celebration small in spending the day with those closest to her.
Among those in attendance at Kate’s celebration were husband Prince William as well as the couple’s three kids George, Charlotte, and Louis. It’s also rumored that Kate connected with her parents as well as Queen Elizabeth, though it seems in the best interest of the Queen and her parents, Kate connected with some help from technology rather than in person.
As it turns out Kate also received an unexpected surprise from Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, one which caught her by surprise and in shock.

According to Us Weekly, after speaking with the Queen and her parents Kate was “taken aback” when she discovered that Meghan and Harry had not only remembered her birthday, but managed to take time to personally send her a gift in honor of her special. day.
While it’s unclear what exactly Meghan and Harry got Kate for her birthday, sources say Kate was quite surprised by the pair’s generosity. In fact, Us Weekly‘s source claims Kate “wasn’t expecting anything from the couple.”
