The reasons why Caitlyn Jenner says she’s closer with Kylie than Kendall might surprise you

Caitlyn Jenner says when it comes to her youngest daughters, she’s closer to Kylie than Kendall, reports Elle.

During an episode of The Skinny Confidential Him & Her Podcast, Caitlyn revealed the surprising reasons she feels this way. While discussing the unique relationships she has with her many children, the conversation of “favorites” naturally came up. As noted by Elle, The I Am Cait star jokingly stated that it “depends on the day.” Then unexpectedly, she opened up a little more about who her favorite really is these days.

Caitlyn Jenner gushed about her youngest daughter, saying, “Kylie is just the exception to the rule,” adding, “I mean, she’s just—all the stars came together.” But then, she seemingly changed her tune and said she “sees the most of herself” in Kendall. Even if there’s more distance between them lately, Caitlyn says they still have “a lot in common.”

Of her commonalities with Kendall, Caitlyn explained, “She’s very athletic. We kind of both had the same attitude towards life.” But the reasons she says she’s closer with Kylie have little to do with similarities.

While the reality star claimed she gets along with both daughters “very well,” Caitlyn admitted, “Kylie and I just seem to be closer most of the time.” The Olympian-turned-reality-star went on to explain the reasons why, revealing she believes her closeness with Kylie has more to do with time spent with her and the efforts consistently made by the both of them to get together for dinner, wine, and quality time.

Caitlyn explained:

"“Kendall’s off kind of doing her thing, and Kylie, like, I had dinner last night at Kylie’s house. We try to do that once a week, once every two weeks."

She went on to say that while Kylie’s always down for dinner and around for a casual hangout, “Kendall’s not that,” calling Kenny “a little bit more secretive” than her younger sister. However, Caitlyn maintained that she and Kendall are “still very close,” even though Kendall’s “harder to figure out” and Kylie’s “an open book.”

As for favoring Kylie, it sounds like Caitlyn and Kris Jenner might have that in common.
