Kim Kardashian to use divorce to help KUWTK ‘go out with a bang’
By Cody Schultz
It appears fans eager for a front-row seat to Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s personal relationship drama might get what they’ve been hoping for after all.
To recap, when Kim and Kanye first started experiencing issues last year speculation immediately began about how much of the drama unfolding behind closed doors Kim would allow the viewers at home to see.
Sure the Kardashians have never been shy about addressing conflict within their family, but given Kim has four kids to think about there have been a lot of questions about just how much Kim would allow to featured on Keeping Up with the Kardashians.
While it was previously reported that Kris Jenner was planning on censoring Kim and Kanye’s relationship drama out of the upcoming season of KUWTK, new reports indicate Kim is looking to not only planning to allow her relationship struggles to be featured on the show but is hoping to leverage her rumored divorce for ratings.
Kim Kardashian hoping divorce will lead to KUWTK ratings bump
With KUWTK set to come to an end, one has to expect that the Kardashians have big plans for the show’s final season — chief among them, seeming to be shifting a particular focus onto Kim and Kanye’s relationship turmoil.
While it’s unclear just how much Kim has agreed to be featured during the season, sources told Page Six the family wants to “go out with a bang” and it seems Kim’s divorce drama might very well be the key to giving the final season an extra boost in the ratings.

Nothing has been confirmed, but it is telling that neither Kim nor Kanye have addressed the rumors which makes one question whether Kim is holding the revelation for the show. It’d be a strategic move that would surely bring a lot of buzz to the show’s final season while also setting the stage for the family’s next chapter with Hulu.
Do you think Kim Kardashian will truly use her divorce with Kanye West to be used as a rating ploy to help Keeping Up with the Kardashians end with a bang? Any thoughts on whether Kanye will make any appearances during the final season or just be referred to as we focus on Kim’s struggles?
