Meghan Markle has romantic ties to Wonder Woman 1984 actor
In Wonder Woman 1984, Gal Gadot’s Diana Prince (aka Wonder Woman) faces off against businessman Maxwell Lord (Pedro Pascal), whose desire for wealth and power set him (and the world) down a dangerous path of destruction.
As part of his plan, he uses an ancient artifact that grants wishes including one made by Diana which results in the resurrection of her perished love, Steve Trevor (Chris Pine). However, there’s just one caveat to Diana’s wish. While Steve is brought back to her, he returns in the body of another man played by actor Kristoffer Polaha.
Wonder Woman 1984′s “handsome man,” as he’s credited in the film, just so happens to have a romantic connection to Meghan Markle as well — just not quite in the way one might think.
You see, before stepping away from acting, Meghan co-starred alongside Kristoffer in the Hallmark Channel original movie Dater’s Handbook.
In the film, Meghan played the lead Cassandra Barber, a businesswoman who decides to try “The Daters Handbook” to find her perfect suitor as a way to break her habit of picking the wrong guys. Following the advice of the book, Cassandra begins evaluating her potential suitors using the author’s advice which leaves her with two very different men: the reliable and steady George, and the fun-loving and laid-back Robert (Kristoffer).
Without giving too much away, we’ll just say that Kristoffer’s characters seem to have a way of catching the eyes of strong women and that sparks were definitely flying between Meghan and Krisoffer’s characters!
Did you have any idea Meghan Markle and Wonder Woman 1984‘s “handsome man” Kristoffer Polaha once shared the screen in Hallmark’s 2016 from-con Dater’s Handbook?
