Meghan Markle officially less popular than the most hated woman in Britain

Megxit seems to have done no favors for Meghan Markle‘s popularity among those based out of the UK. In fact, according to a new study, Meghan Markle is now less popular than the woman who was once dubbed the most hated woman in the UK.
YouGov, a research and data analyst group, has released a new poll ranking the 15 most popular members of the Royal Family, and not only did Meghan fail to crack the Top 10 but she happened to rank below Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall who at one point in UK history was crowned the most hated woman in Britain.
Although Camilla came under fire at one point in 2020 thanks to The Crown stirring the pot with its fourth season, her work to provide comfort, support and laughs during the unprecedented times caused by the ongoing pandemic made her a trusted senior royal and clearly helped her to gain favor among UK natives.
Meanwhile, it seems Meghan’s decision to step away from royal life at the top of the year and put distance between herself and the rest of the royal family hasn’t exactly helped her win over the masses.
Where does Meghan Markle rank among most popular UK royals?
So where exactly Meghan rank in popularity in comparison to Camilla? According to the report, Meghan was ranked eleventh overall while Camilla managed to crack the Top 10 with her status as the ninth most popular royal.
Interestingly, Prince Harry managed to retain a pretty strong ranking on the list coming in at the No. 8 spot on the list just above Camilla — yet noticeably lower than his older brother Prince William.

Speaking of William, Harry’s big bro managed to claim the top spot on the list, pushing past Queen Elizabeth II as the most popular royal in the family.
