Khloe Kardashian opens up on how ‘great’ Tristan Thompson is as a parent

When it comes to co-parenting, Khloe Kardashian has nothing but nice things to say about Tristan Thompson, reports Us Weekly.

According to Khloe, they’ve worked hard to get to where they’re at these days, especially when it comes to strengthening trust. The 36-year-old recently revealed to Kelly Clarkson while a guest on her show that when deciding what’s right for True Thompson, she and Tristan are on the same page, explaining:

"Tristan is so great and really trusts me as a mom and knows I’m always gonna do the right thing for [our daughter], True, so he really doesn’t tell me ‘no’ a lot of the times. I’m grateful for that. I think as moms, we sort of feel like we have the right and know what we’re doing with our kids.”"

Of course, that doesn’t mean the on-again, off-again couple agrees on everything when it comes to what’s best for their little one. Apparently, KoKo and Tristan couldn’t see eye to eye when it came time for their two-year-old’s first haircut. The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star claimed she only wanted to give True a trim, but that her daughter’s devoted daddy was “adamant” she didn’t go through with the haircut at all.

While on The Kelly Clarkson Show, the reality star also revealed:

"I wanted to give her her very first trim. I mean, not even half an inch. I just wanted to cut some of her baby hairs… It was so crazy to me. He freaked out."

Khloe Kardashian continued, claiming Tristan called her brother, Rob Kardashian, hoping that he’d able about to talk her out of it. Taking things to the next level, Tristan apparently even called Kris Jenner for backup. But that’s definitely small potatoes compared to major disagreements–and indiscretions–of their rocky past.

At the end of the day, it seems that minor haircut disagreement aside, these parents are in a way better place than they’ve ever been. It looks like all the work Tristan Thompson has put in to get back in Khloe Kardashian’s good graces after the Jordyn Woods cheating scandal continues to pay off.
