What happened in Paris is no longer staying in Paris, it seems. If you’re curious for some more details about what went down the extremely unfortunate night Kim Kardashian was robbed in Paris back in 2016, you seemingly might be in luck. And the alleged information is coming from a very unexpected source.

One of the alleged robbers who held Kim Kardashian at gunpoint In Paris has written a tell-all book, reports Elle. How much of it is factual remains to be seen, but it’s definitely going to be an interesting read, to say the least. Here’s what we know about the book and the author so far.

The jewel-thief-turned-author is 67-year-old Yunice Abbas. According to Abbas, he was one of the armed robbers who broke into the reality star’s suite back in 2016 while she was visiting Paris for Fashion Week. Reportedly, Abbas and his crew stole around $10 million worth of Kim’s most precious jewelry, including her $4 million engagement ring.

The harrowing ordeal left a lasting impact on the SKIMS mogul. On more than one occasion, Kim Kardashian has stated that she was forever changed by her night of terror in Paris. And now, it seems she might be forced to relive some of it, even if she doesn’t ever purchase the book.

‘I Kidnapped Kim Kardashian’ by Yunice Abbas

In an interview with Paris Match, the alleged thief discussed the upcoming book, titled, J’ai Séquestré Kim Kardashian which translates to “I Kidnapped Kim Kardashian.” As Elle notes, Abbas claims he had no idea who Kim Kardashian was before “kidnapping” the reality star and holding her hostage in her Paris hotel. He also alleges that it was a friend who put him up to the job and the most he learned was that Kim was the wife of “a famous rapper.” He says at that point, he knew enough.

Upon reflection, Abbas claims he regrets getting involved with the jewel heist, but not for the reasons you might think. The alleged robber told Paris Match, “I regret what I did and not because I was caught! For victims, it’s always violent even if we thought we were being gentle.”

Those aren’t the only big reveals in the book, though. Reportedly, there are a few really shocking allegations that will inevitably come out. According to the “part-time cook,” it was actually someone from Kim’s inner circle who tipped off his criminal crew, regarding not only Kim’s whereabouts while staying in Paris, but also what the group could potentially steal and what those items were worth. Yikes.

Even though he allegedly took part in the robbery, Abbas says he knew they’d get caught. While the whole book looks like it’s going to be pretty surprising, that part definitely seems hard to believe. And the million-dollar question, of course, is what does Kim Kardashian have to say about this tell-all book, if anything at all?
