Fans are loving Kourtney Kardashian’s new ‘rocker chic look’ since she started dating Travis Barker

With every relationship comes a moment where one imitates the other due to being around each other so often. For some couples, they copy each other’s lingo, favorite foods, or favorite hot spots. Additionally, for some couples like Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker, you copy each other’s fashion sense.

The Blink-182 drummer and the rest of his band were a staple for the alternative punk-rock scene in the late 1990s and the early 2000s. From the checkered hats to the excessive ear and lip piercings, the band’s style was iconic and rubbed off on many people, seemingly including Barker’s boo, Kourtney Kardashian.

The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star went from sporting evening gowns and Louboutins to rocking black leather jackets and Doc Martens, and Reddit fans are living for this change in fashion sense.

One fan stated that the wardrobe change, “suits her personality so much,” to which another fan seconded saying, “It really does! It’s such a good vibe for her.” A fan definitely spoke for us all when they said, “I ship this [relationship] so hard.” (Super hard.)

However, one fan brought up a good point when they said, “It’s not even that much of a change! She always loved black clothes and looks great wearing it.”

We did some digging through Kourtney Kardashian’s Instagram, @kourtneykardash, and found that punk-rock attire really was always in her closet.

The dark lip, the slightly smudged eyeshadow, the cheetah print…all highlights of the alternative scene of the 2000s.

This picture of Kourtney Kardashian in 2000 shows that it’s fairly possible that she was a fan of Blink-182 long before she began dating the band’s drummer earlier this year. This assumption wouldn’t be too far off, as the pair met in 2006 and have remained longtime friends ever since. Could it be that the couple were a match made in punk-rock heaven from the very start?

Either way, we are totally digging Kourtney Kardashian’s new outfits and can’t wait to see what she wears next. Perhaps a spiked choker or some ripped lace thigh-highs. Or even better, a silver-studded skull engagement ring.
