Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick have one-on-one convo about their relationship on KUWTK

KUWTK stars Scott Disick, 37, and Kourtney Kardashian, 42, have had a complicated relationship, to say the least, for over a decade. The on-and-off couple, who share three children; Mason, 11, Penelope, 8, and Reign, 6, have been urged by viewers and family alike to “get back together” and “get married” since splitting for good in 2015. But recent pressure, in particular from the Kardashian-Jenner clan, prompted Scott Disick to demand Kourtney make a “final decision” on their relationship status so he could finally “move on”.

While “The Lord” and his fair lady haven’t been together for a hot second it was recently reported that Scott was having a “hard time” with Kourtney dating. And Thursday night’s installment of the final season of Keeping Up With the Kardashians makes for a particularly awkward viewing as it aired footage from last year, during the COVID-19 pandemic, that showed Scott confessing his jealousy issues and desires to get back together with the 42-year-old Poosh founder, but the pair in present-day are dating other people.

What happened on KUWTK this week?

Well, after a particularly uncomfortable family dinner the night before, Kourtney and Scott decided it was time to sit down for a one-on-one chat, where she allowed Scott to tell her his feelings and emotions about their relationship directly.

“I feel like I just don’t like seeing you with another guy,” Scott confessed in the new KUWTK episode, referring to the steamy Baywatch-hunk. He continued:

"“It hurt me when you’re with somebody else and waking up to, like, looking at pictures of you with this guy you were dating. It was just unhealthy and it just made me upset and sad, you know what I mean?”"

Kourtney seemed to be understanding, while Scott added:

"“The big fear is if you start dating again, then it goes back to that and I have to feel, like, a different way again and it’s just hard. It sucks. I guess now that you’re single and I’m single and you haven’t been with somebody in a bit, either we figure out creating our own lives together or separately.”"

Scott expressed a desire to stop living in limbo and demanded Kourtney make a decision on their relationship, stating:

"“If you can just make the final decision that you and I are never going to try to be a family again, then I can move on and I could deal with you being with other people.I don’t want to give you an ultimatum and I don’t want to push you. I don’t want to make you anxious, but you don’t say no, and you leave this door open, so I have expectations in my mind, and they don’t seem to ever get met.I don’t want to have to like, live in limbo for the rest of my life with you.”"

Kourtney replied, Yeah, I don’t want to live in limbo either. I feel like I’m happy right now.” Scott cheerlessly responded to that with:

"“Well, I’m not. I love you, so it’s difficult…It seems like we do everything else together but the intimacy part. That we leave for other people. And then those other people just get jealous of our relationship and feel like the only thing they have is the intimacy part.”"

Kourtney countered that she wasn’t ready to reunite with Scott as she felt he still hasn’t done what she’d asked of him to for them to make their relationship work. In a confessional, she later added:

"“[Scott] knows what would need to happen for this to even be a possibility, and certain things haven’t happened that I’ve been very clear about. My answer isn’t gonna change unless his actions change. So I’m hesitant to have that conversation now.”"

Scott eventually admitted he’s coming to terms with the fact they won’t be romantically reuniting any time soon, admitting: “I feel like for so many years and so long I always thought that we would end up together. ”

“Now it’s getting to a point where I’m not really sure if that’s ever gonna happen again,” Scott continued, adding almost sarcastically: “I guess you just have different things then, that you want to do with your life?”

And as Kourtney geared up to reply, Scott interrupted her. “You don’t have to make your mind up now. Just wait a couple more years,” he said.

With a laugh, Kourtney replied: “I’ll get back to you.”

Since the show was filmed, it seems that Scott and Kourtney have decided to go their separate ways as loved-up Kourtney is now dating Blink-182’s Travis Barker, 45, and Scott is dating actress, Amelia Hamlin, 19.

Although a reunion between the OG Kardashian couple seems very unlikely soon, here’s hoping that they end up working things out eventually. To quote Friends’ Pheobe, “She’s [his] lobster.”
