It looks like Younes Bendjima has to watch the timing of his Instagram Stories, as there seems to be a misunderstanding as to whether or not the Algerian model was shading his ex-girlfriend Kourtney Kardashian on social media.

Bendjima is no stranger to letting it be known how he feels about the Kardashian family, but it seems that in this particular situation, his statements on society and modesty were completely unrelated to his ex-girlfriend. That’s what he says, anyway.

Did Younes Bendjima shade Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker?

When Kourtney Kardashian recently posted a PDA-filled picture of her and her boyfriend Travis Barker, fans of the couple assumed that Younes Bendjima subliminally shaded Kardashian on Instagram when he wrote, “Shamelessness has become so normal in today’s society, that modesty has become strange.”

However, the Algerian model had to quickly clarify this was not about the Poosh founder, and soon after Bendjima posted a message on his Instagram Story about the allegations, stating:

"“I always post quotes since years, all types of quotes. Stop attaching myself to people that are not part of my life anymore, it’s been two years let’s move on. No need for bad vibes. Keep me far away from all that. Much appreciated. Gracias amigos.”"

You can find a screenshot of his story here.

Some Reddit fans aren’t buying into his denial response, however, with one commenter saying, “Fact that he posted a response in the first place means he posted a response in the first place. Petty, silly. Gosh.” But for the most part, people do seem to believe Bendjima genuinely didn’t mean anything by his comment.

“Y’all don’t know who he was talking about,” one Redditor stated, adding, “stop jumping to conclusions not everything he posts is about her,” which is a good point.

Just as Younes Bendjima said, it’s been two years and he has since moved on, and if Kourtney Kardashian doesn’t take her ex-boyfriend’s comments as shade, then maybe no one else should either.

Perhaps next time, Younes Bendjima will make sure that the Kardashians haven’t posted anything juicy before he posts his quotes.
