Kris Jenner celebrates 40 MILLION FOLLOWERS on Instagram by throwing back to her first post nine years ago: ‘Hello Instagram world!’

Kris Jenner, the world’s best momager, and head of the Kardashian-Jenner clan reached an impressive milestone in her career on Thursday, April 29, 2021.

The 65-year-old Kardashian-Jenner momager – a term she’s now trademarked – and extraordinaire celebrated reaching 40M followers, on Instagram and got behind the popular “Throwback Thursday” trend, or more commonly known as the #TBT,  with a nostalgia-inducing screenshot of her very first Instagram post to express her gratitude toward her fans.

The original post was a black and white photo of Kris Jenner from 2012 greeting her much smaller Instagram community: “Hello Instagram world!” she wrote beneath the picture.

She captioned the screenshot, of her throwback, with a long heartfelt message penned to her fans, that said:

"“I have 40 MILLION reasons to be excited and thankful!!! 40 MILLION followers WOW!!! I can’t believe it’s been 9 years since I posted my first Instagram, and here we are, 40 million followers and 5900 posts later!!”"

The KUWTK matriarch went on to thank her fans, and gushed at what a “blessing” it has been to be able to connect on this level of magnitude with fans and followers, Kris continued in her statement:

"“Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your loyalty, support, positivity, brutal honestly, humor and love, for all of these years. Over 14 years of making our show, the biggest blessing has been creating relationships with our followers and our fans, and I am so grateful that we have this amazing place to communicate, connect, and share our lives.”"

And finished off by revealing that the screenshot in the current post, is from her very first post on Instagram :

"“I feel so completely blessed and honored that you have been there for me through thick and thin… and my, you have seen it ALL! hah! You have also supported all the hopes and dreams that not only I have had, but that my kids have had as well. Thank you for following me… I’m honestly humbled and grateful. I love you guys!!!! 🥰🙏 (This is my first ever Instagram post nine years ago!!”"

During her post, the KUWTK star reflected back through her time on the social media platform and took a trip down memory lane as she marveled at how far she’s come while thanking her followers.

The 65-year-old momager may be excited to hit her 40M follower milestone, but she still trails far behind her famous daughters’ accounts. Kylie Jenner leads the Kardashian-Jenner clan with a huge 228M following, with Kim Kardashian coming in second with 217M. Kendall rocking a solid 160M, while Khloe and Kourtney have 139M and 117M, respectively.
