It’s likely been a rough couple of weeks for Khloe Kardashian as the rumors of her partner Tristan Thompson cheating on her have been all over the news. A woman by the name of Sydney Chase claims to have been physical with Thompson whilst he was still with the Kardashian, and things seem to be taking a turn for the worst.
The reported drama between Tristan Thompson, Sydney Chase, and Khloe Kardashian is steadily reaching its climax as the NBA athlete attempts to put a stop to all these allegations, but will this legal action actually end things for good?
Tristan Thompson files cease and desist against Sydney Chase
According to Page Six, it looks like Thompson filed a cease-and-desist order against Chase that required her to refrain from making any further allegations of infidelity.
The order comments that Chase made “numerous false and defamatory statements” and that she is a “liar” with a “purely fictional” relationship with Thompson.
Additionally, it seems that the initial podcast, No Jumper, where Chase first confessed these claims has been taken down, but an edited version of the video has been re-uploaded instead.
The host, Adam John Grandmaison, showed remorse for publishing the video stating, “Honestly, I wouldn’t have posted it in the first place if I knew it was going to mess up a relationship,” but Thompson’s lawyers simply weren’t having it, reprimanding Grandmaison for allowing Chase to make false accusations without any verification.
Lastly, the cease-and-desist orders Chase to hand over any texts between her and Tristan Thompson. The order states:
"We are confident that any texts you may claim to have would not withstand such scrutiny. The truth would be revealed – that your story about my client isfabricated. Of course, we doubt you will allow us to review any purported texts since our examination of the texts would confirm that they are a sham."
Things are certainly hitting the fan as this allegation has now become a huge mess and will only slow down should Sydney Chase take back her claims. However, as she says she has yet to receive any cease and desist order, this wild ride doesn’t seem to be stopping any time soon.
Neither Tristan Thompson nor Khloe Kardashian has yet to make any official statement regarding Chase, but once either one of them does, we’ll be sure to let you know.
