Kim Kardashian’s iconic crying meme face made a big return to E! last night (May 6) in a bittersweet moment where the family announced to the crew – who in the past, and even on multiple occasions in this episode, has been described as more of an “extended” or “second family” than just a camera crew – that they have made the decision to end KUWTK.

Kim’s iconic crying face went viral years ago on an episode of a KUWTK set in Colorado, where the SKIMS founder got upset with how the family trip was going.

In the all-new episode of KUWTK, the Kardashian-Jenner clan, minus Kylie, 23, and Kendall Jenner, 25, appeared before their longtime friends and camera crew to break to them the devastating news that they’ve made the decision not to renew their contract with E! and to end their incredible 14-years and 20 season run of Keeping Up With the Kardashians.

A teary Kris Jenner, 65, standing alongside Kim Kardashian, 40, Khloe Kardashian, 36, and Kourtney Kardashian, 42, informed the crew that “there’s no easy way to say” what the family had to share with the crew, but had to do it like “ripping off a Band-Aid”.

The famous momager said:

"“We just wanted to tell you in person that we won’t be going forward with filming the show anymore.”"

She added that coming to this decision had been “excruciating”.

Kim then stepped up to share a few words with the crew, but emotions got the best of her as she could barely get through her speech, and her iconic crying meme face made it’s big return. A clearly devastated Kim told the crew:

"“I just want you guys to know how much we really appreciate you guys, each and every one of you, for spending time away from your families to be with our crazy family.”"

Many fans had their fun online with the new appearance of Kim’s iconic crying face, with many creating their own memes to celebrate the final season of KUWTK. One fan posted an appreciation post of Kim’s crying face “evolution”.
