Kanye West shades Kim Kardashian on Mother’s Day 2021

Kanye West and Kim Kardashian might still be married in the eyes of the law, but there was no love to be shared by Kanye on Mother’s Day this year.

From the moment Kim and Kanye first announced they would be going their separate ways in filing for divorce, the rumor mill has been running rampant with reports over how the two parties are dealing with the divorce both emotionally and in looking ahead to their future as co-parents.

Although there have been some hiccups along the way including Kanye going as far as changing all of his phone numbers to avoid Kim, it’s been reported the dividing of assets hasn’t been overly complicated and the two are both said to be in agreement that joint custody is the best for their kids North, Saint, Chicago and Psalm.

While the two seem to be on the same page about most things and working to make the process of divorce as simple for one another as possible, Kanye’s recent actions around the first holidays of the year have seemed to suggest he’s not quite reached the point of celebrating Kim.

Did Kanye West wish Kim Kardashian Happy Mother’s Day?

Although Kris Jenner and company have been candid in stressing that Kanye will remain a part of their family, he’s not been quite as involved with the family’s holiday celebrations since word of the divorce came about.

Easter came and went without any indication that Kanye was present when the family celebrated in lavish style and now it seems Kanye has let Mother’s Day come and go without any public display of support for Kim Kardashian.

While Kanye is known for being hit and miss with posting to social media, the Kardashians are known to flaunt their gifts on their Instagram Stories as a way to say thanks to the gift giver. Interestingly, Mother’s Day 2021 came and went without Kanye posting any type of tribute to Kim on his social media or with Kim acknowledging any gift from Kanye.

So while it seems the two might be working to co-parent, Kanye wasn’t exactly in the mood for celebrating the mother of his four kids this Mother’s Day weekend.
