Sydney Chase, the woman who claims that NBA athlete Tristan Thompson cheated on Khloe Kardashian with her, will not be going down without a fight as the infidelity scandal grows more and more intense.

Just last week, Thompson proceeded to take legal action against Chase for her to discontinue spreading any more false rumors, stating that she is a “liar.” Well, it looks like she didn’t respond to the cease and desist letter or name-calling too well and decided to take legal action herself.

Sydney Chase hires lawyer after cease and desist from Tristan Thompson

According to Page Six, Sydney Chase has hired high-profile lawyer Gloria Allred to further investigate the allegations, clear her name as a liar, and move forward with her truth. In representing her client, Allred told the publication:

"Our client, Sydney Chase, is outraged at what she regards as false statements that have been made about her in the media by Tristan Thompson’s representatives. […] Mr. Thompson’s representatives have challenged her to reveal evidence of their relationship. We would be willing to share evidence that Sydney has given us, provided that Mr. Thompson will make himself available in person to answer my questions and provide us with documents that we request."

Things are definitely getting more complex as it appears that the only way for this scandal to come to a resolution is if both parties comply with the demands that each person requests.

However, it seems that both Chase and Thompson are beginning to get angered by each other and may, for whatever reason, be hesitant to come forward with whatever they must confess, which has us wondering if the investigation would reach a dead end.

“If Mr. Thompson has nothing to hide,” Gloria Allred continued, “then we would expect that he will make himself available for questioning by me and that he will voluntarily provide the documents.”

The scandal looks to now be in the hands of only the involving parties, so where does Khloe Kardashian fit into all this?

Allred says that she’s “welcome to attend,” meaning whether Kardashian is there or not, the process will still move forward.

Neither Khloe Kardashian nor Tristan Thompson has yet to make an official statement on the recent events, but once either of them does, as always, we’ll be sure to update you.
