KUWTK Recap: What went down on season 20 episode 9 ‘Keeping Up With the Kids’?

There are only three more episodes left of the final season of Keeping Up With The Kardashinas and we simply cannot imagine saying goodbye to the famous Kardashian-Jenner clan, luckily, we still have a few more weeks to come to terms with the monumental change. KUWTK season 20 episode 9 ‘Keeping Up With the Kids’ recap

On May 20, the ninth episode of the final season of KUWTK aired on E!.

In this week’s all-new episode of KUWTK titled ‘Keeping Up With the Kids,’  Kim Kardashian, 40, and Scott Disick, 37, treated viewers to some adorable and heartwarming scenes with the youngest members of the Kardashian-Jenner family, as they lead their youngsters on a nostalgic trip down memory lane, exploring Kourtney Kardashian’s and Scott’s first condo, and watching some throwback clips of some of the more kid-friendly moments of KUWTK.

Although the kid’s storyline took centre stage this week, it wasn’t the only thing to go down, read on to find out everything that happened on episode 9 of the last season of KUWTK.

Khloe Kardashian moved out of her home in latest KUWTK

Opening the episode, Khloe Kardashian, 36, gave long-term pals, actress Khadija Haqq McCray and twin Malika Haqq a grand tour of her brand new property lot, which’s situated right next door to her moms.

“You guys are the first people to see it, even over my sisters,” The Good American founder declared to the twins.

Khloe – who’s building her dream home right next door to momager Kris Jenner – gave the gals a tour of the inside and explained in detail what she envisions for her new home.

"“This whole area here will be like just a great room, and then you look out, and these open [pointing to the floor to ceiling sliding windows] all the way out and there’s a fire pit, pool and pavilion. It’s going to be amazing.”"

The 36-year-old beauty then guides them further around while pointing out her ‘master quarters’ as well as her soon-to-be huge glam room and functioning elevator.

Kim Kardashian and Scott Disick discuss their kid’s interest in KUWTK

As Khloe was finishing off her dream home tour, we join Kim Kardashian and Scott Disick chatting happily in Kim’s vast garden before they were interrupted by a running North and Saint. A bemused Scott inquired as to where the adorable kids were running off to, to which Kim replied: “They’re just trying to be funny and run through the show.”

Scott then wondered if Kim’s kids have wanted to watch Keeping Up With The Kardashians, and the 40-year-old KKW founder announced that although they might have seen a clip from the show here and there, she is refraining from outright showing them all of it.

“I don’t really want to have to explain who Kris Humphries is.” Kim joked with Scott, making a reference to her 72-day marriage to the professional basketball player.

Kris Jenner as ‘Negative Nelly’

Back at the Malibu house, Kris Jenner, 65, shared her frustrations with her daughter, Khloe Kardashian, about the noisy constructions going on next door. In a confessional the mom of six, complained:

"“The neighbours are in the middle of a major construction project, and it’s really loud, like really really loud.  Where you can’t be on the phone, type loud, you can’t think loud, you just can’t. It’s really bad.”"

But ever the optimist, Khloe Kardashian encourages her mom to “take a breath” and reassured her that everything is fine. “Mom, I really think just for your own health, you have to be a bit more positive and don’t sweat the small stuff,” the KUWTK star told the momager.

Tristan Thompson shows off his loving and thoughtful side

Although these scenes made us cringe, we can admit that at one point, Tristan Thompson, 30,  was truly pulling out all the stops for his baby mama Koko.

While Khloe Kardashian was chatting, about her sold property and the stress she is under, to a friend out in the garden, Tristan Thompson decided to take a walk through the house to take pictures of some of the key features in Khloe’s home, in order to incorporate some of these details into his own bachelor pad and make the KUWTK beauty more comfortable and welcome in his home.  Who knew Tristan could be this thoughtful?

Kardashian sisters get into a heated row

Later in the episode, while Kim, Khloe and Kourtney enjoyed some lunch and downtime, the sisters got into a heated argument over how Kourtney dealt with Kim’s nanny on a recent trip they had taken.

Kim said: “She [the nanny] said that she felt so degraded by you and you just started yelling at her, you said ‘keep your voice down’,” but before she could finish her sentence, eldest sister Kourtney interrupted with a blunt “she’s lying.”

The discussion soon turns heated when Kim lashed out at Kourtney – who made a point of stating that she will not allow her kids to be around Kim’s nanny – and pointed out that the Poosh founder “can’t even keep on a nanny” which triggered Kourtney into storming off camera.  Ever the mediator, Khloe Kardashian then went to check on her eldest sis and was shocked to find her crying and upset.

Although the sisters were mad at each other, it wasn’t long before Kourtney and Kim made up, with Kim seeking out the Poosh founder to apologise for her words.
