Kim Kardashian finally responds to rumors she had affair with Travis Barker

Kim Kardashian is no stranger to speaking her truth to ensure that some respect is put on her billionaire name.

Yesterday, Kardashian answered plenty of fan-submitted questions on her Instagram Story including an inquiry regarding her involvement with her sister’s current beau, and she left no room for any more preposterous rumors.

Kim Kardashian denies affair with Travis Barker

An Instagram user submitted the question, “Did you hook up with Travis Barker?” to which the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star responded, “No! False narrative! We’ve been friends for many years and I’m so happy for him and Kourt,” dispelling the recent allegation that’s been running rampant.

The rumors began when the ex-wife of Travis Barker, Shanna Moakler, insinuated that Kim Kardashian was one of the reasons for her divorce from the Blink-182 drummer. Moakler told US Weekly:

"I divorced my ex because I saw them–I caught them having an affair. […] We were working on our marriage and trying to heal through that affair, that infidelity, but he continued to work with her. And then I received all the text messages and the other third parties kind of let me know. It’s something I was well aware of."

Both Shanna Moakler and Travis Barker have since moved on from their separation with their respective partners, including Barker currently dating Kourtney Kardashian.

Even still, Moakler stated the pair dating was “weird” given the fact that he always wanted to date Kim.

Barker denied these claims in his 2015 memoir Can I Say, and now, six years later, Kim Kardashian has done the same.

The record was set straight by both accused parties, but this may not be the end of the matter as Moakler recently seems to be rather over-concerned with airing out whatever dirty laundry she may have on Barker.

Regardless, whatever rumors may arise, we’re sure that the Kardashians will have no issue with clearing the air once more.
