KUWTK: Kourtney Kardashian tried to catch Kendall Jenner in a lie ‘I love the Hermes plates’ … but it hilariously backfired!

Not everyone is going to like every gift that you buy, as Kourtney Kardashian found out during Thursday (May 27) night’s all-new episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, when Kourtney was told that the luxurious, and expensive Hermes china, that she had individually picked out with “thought and care” then bought for her younger sister’s, Kendal Jenner, birthdays, were being returned to the store.

In the newest KUWTK episode, titled “Birthdays and Badnews“, the 42-year-old Poosh founder discussed with sisters Kim and Khloe Kardashian, what she was planning to get Kendal for her 25th Birthday (which was last November) when she informed the sisters of what she had learned.

"“So I started her this collection of Hermes china last year for her birthday, I got her, like, teacups and a teapot and all the tea stuff. And then for Christmas, I added to it and got her all the serving platters, so I was thinking I could add to it and get the dishes.”"

The KUWTK star – who was recently viciously accused by her boyfriend, Travis Barker’s ex of ‘buying’ her kids off – revealed to her amused sisters that when she had called the store to double-check which items in the specific horse motif collection she still hasn’t purchased, she was shocked to learn that her fabulous supermodel sister had in fact returned her gifts.

"“I was like, ‘Can you send me photos of what I didn’t get yet?’ and then they just said, ‘I can absolutely do that but she returned everything that you got her,’ I, like, literally picked out each dish with thought and care.”"

Though scorned by her younger sister, Kourt found the funny side, and while laughing with her sisters she declared: “I want to be like, ‘You think the joke’s on me, you keep returning it. But the joke’s on you because I’m going to keep buying it!”

In the episode, Kourtney decided she was going to catch Kendall Jenner out for returning her gifts and devised a plan to expose the truth but … it didn’t go down as planned.

In a hilarious turn of events, when Kourtney unexpectedly arrived at Kenny’s house to ambush the supermodel and expose the missing gifts from her home, she was left shocked and left briefly speechless – when she found that the Hermès china collection that Kourtney had gifted her, and Kendall had allegedly returned to the store – was in fact where the runway star claimed them to be; safely tucked away in her kitchen cabinets.

Eyes boggling out of her head, the mom to three – Mason, 11, Penelope, eight, and Reign, six – giggled and explained to a confused looking Kendall the reason for her visit, filling her in on the conversation she had with the Hermes store employee.

“[They told me] Kendall returned everything you gave her, it’s just so funny, cos they said every gift,” the still confused but now awkward-looking Kourtney told her bemused sister, before Kendall quickly set the record straight, telling the Poosh founder that she had “some duplicates” that she had returned instead, and reassured Kourtney that she really “loved” the gifts.

Later in a confessional, the supermodel told the cameras:

"“I can’t believe Kourtney would think that I returned very, very nice Hermes plates that in fact have horses on them, and those are my favourite animal of all time. Why would I ever return something like that? That’s SUCH a nice gift.”"

What a turn of events!
