Kanye West and Irina Shayk spark dating rumors amid Kim Kardashian divorce – are they actually together?

Kanye West, 43, – the rapper turned fashion designer – has recently sparked dating rumors with Bradley Cooper’s ex, and international supermodel, Irina Shayk, 35, but is the “Gold Digger” singer really linked to the former Victoria’s Secret Angel?

As Kim Kardashian and Kanye West move forward with their divorce proceedings, speculations about who they’ve been dating since separating have been making the rounds online, according to reports, Kim has a line of suitors queueing up to get the chance to take the KUWTK star out on a date, and was even rumored to be linked to news and political commentator, Van Jones.

But when it comes to Kanye – who’s been keeping a low profile, unlike ex-wife Kim who has been flashing her flesh all over social media – dating rumors have been fairly quiet, until now.

According to reports, the 43-year-old Yeezy founder is now allegedly linked to Bradley Cooper’s ex and baby mama, Russian supermodel Irina Shayk – which makes for an odd pairing, if we say so ourselves, making us question whether there is any merit to the rumor or not.

Are Kanye West and Irina Shayk dating?

Irina – who is the mother of one, Lea De Seine, four, – has been publicly single since her relationship with Bradley Cooper ended in 2019, after the A Star is Born director and actor was plagued with rumors that he had an affair with his co-star, Lady Gaga, during filming.

Whilst Kanye only recently found himself single after eight years of being with the KUWTK star, six years of marriage, and four kids.

So what’s the likelihood that Kanye and Irina are dating?

Well according to reports, “Kanye and Irina go way back”, having previously worked together on Kanye West’s Power music video in 2010 – so they do know each other, but when it comes to dating?… we’re not so sure.

Original reports made about their rumored relationship came from anonymous Instagram gossip site DeuxMoi, who claimed that a source told them: “Kanye West is now secretly dating Irina Shayk aka Bradley Cooper’s baby mama”,  but the site doesn’t always fact check every tip … so we can’t take this information as a definitive fact.

Previously, Irina has also made it clear that her four-year-old daughter, Lea, is her top priority since splitting from the 46-year-old Hangover actor, which also makes us doubt these Kanye and Irena dating rumors. In an interview with Vogue, for their March 2020 issue, the Russian model told the publication:

"“Sometimes, when I say to myself, ‘Wow, I’m a single mom,’ it can sound a little scary. But it’s doable, and I think women can really handle a lot of things. I’ve never had a male figure who came into my life and took care of me. Never.”"

So – though we might have to eat our words soon, if reports turn out to be right – we can put our hand on our heart to say that we DO NOT believe that Kanye West and Irina Shayk are currently dating. It’s just too bizarre to accept at this point, but, you never know what exactly is going down is the world of celebrities. Stay tuned for any further updates.
