Khloe Kardashian has yet again found herself in the news because of her recent Instagram video voicing that individuals using single-use water bottles to fill up reusable water gallons are being wasteful and not being environmentally conscious.

Soon after she voiced her beliefs, social media called Khloe out on her hypocrisy stating that the Keeping Up with the Kardashian star is just as wasteful for using large amounts of flowers, balloons, and single-use decorations for her daughter’s, True Thompson, birthday parties.

The Good American founder replied quickly to these comments, shutting down the growing animosity as soon as possible.

Khloe Kardashian reacts to latest water bottle controversy

In addition to the public stating that she’s a hypocrite, some also state that Khloe Kardashian is also shaming individuals who can’t afford to be non-polluting because plastic water bottles are more affordable.

With these opinions running about, Khloe took to her Twitter to voice her own opinion on the water bottle matter, and it’s clear that she views the latest controversy as a huge reach. She states:

"Oh my! LOL What drives me is that people turn nothing into some thing. It must be a slow news day. I am constantly learning and trying to be better for the environment for the sake of my daughter. I am the last one to say that I’m super environmentally conscious because I know how much more I have to learn. All I was simply saying is a pet peeve of MINE."

Though Khloe Kardashian has done her best to clear up the air, it’s evident that the general public would prefer her working on the delivery of her message to avoid being perceived as someone who shames those with no other option but to use what is affordable.

In the end, Khloe states that she is willing to learn from her mistakes and learn how to practice behaviors that are safe for the environment as well.

All she can do is move forward. Hopefully, her apology and her openness to correction bodes well with social media. We’ll have to wait to see how it all plays out.
