Catherine, the Duchess of Cambridge and future Queen of England – known more commonly by her maiden name, Kate Middleton – met with the US’s First Lady, Jill Biden, for the FIRST TIME ever, at the G7 Summit held in Cornwall, UK, and both ladies brought their fashion A-game for the event.
The Duchess of Cambridge joined fellow royals, Queen Elizabeth and the Duchess of Cornwall, Camilla Parker-Bowls for a girls trip down to Cornwall for the summit which is being hosted by UK Prime Minister, Boris Johnson, before splitting off from the ladies to join America’s, First Lady.
On the first full day of the G7 Summit (June 11), Kate Middleton, 39, and Jill Biden, 70, visited a preschool in Cornwall to attended a talk with education experts, and both leading ladies stunned with their fashion choices. This was the first time that Kate and Jill met but, if the photos are anything to go off of, they clearly had a lot of fun together.
The mom-of-three – Prince George, seven, Princess Charlotte, six, and Prince Louis, three, – is already known to be a style queen, and today was no different when she cut quite the elegant figure, in a gorgeous knee-length fuchsia-colored dress, from one of her favourite British brands, Alexander McQueen. The dress was synched in the middle with belt made of the same material to accentuate her tiny waist. She carried with her a small tan handbag from L.K Bennet and matching colored shoes as she arrived to meet the President’s wife, who also donned a pink ensemble complete with a vibrant pink blazer, and a string of pearls, for the occasion.
According to reports from the event, the Duchess of Cambridge and FLOTUS met with children aged four and five and their teachers at the Connor Downs Academy preschool near Camborne, a neighborhood in Cornwall.
During a Q&A session at the event, Kate also briefly shared that she wished newborn niece Lilibet Diana Mountbatten-Windsor, who was born last Friday, June 4, the “very best”, adding that she “can’t wait to meet” her brother-in-law Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s daughter.
Kate said: “We haven’t met her yet. I hope that will be soon.”
