Back in April Kim Kardashian debuted bleached blonde hair and eyebrows for a “special shoot”, she teased fans of an upcoming mystery project with her shocking look on social media but kept the details of the venture to herself. But … it seems the 40-year-old KKW Beauty founder is ready to spill the beans! As she has now revealed that the mysterious look was for a futuristic ’60s themed SKIMS campaign. 👽🖖🏼

Now at the beginning of a fresh chapter in her life – having filed for divorce from Kanye West in February – Kim Kardashian has been more daring than ever with her fashion choices, and she has been enjoying shocking fans with new looks and outfits on the regular through her favored means of communications; Instagram and Twitter.

And on Friday, June 25, Kim Kardashian proceeded to shock fans, and finally chose to reveal the reason for her bleach blonde transformation back in April, by debuting an out-this-world-look, drawing clear inspiration from ’60s science fiction, for her latest SKIMS campaign.

The 40-year-old mom of four – North, eight, Saint, five, Chi, three and Psalm, two – modelled the latest “nature-inspired” SKIMS collection which saw Kim Kardashian wearing fitted cycling shorts and matching cropped sports bra, with bleached blonde hair and bleached eyebrows, in a highly stylized shoot that gave the new campaign a serious futuristic feel.

In a series of stylish photos and videos, shot by renowned British art photographer Nadia Lee Cohen, Kim and two models proceeded to show off the new collection of SKIMS. The KKW Beauty founder and models posed stoically with vacant faces in some of the pics – as if they have recently been visited by aliens! 👽
