Tristan Thompson gushes over Khloe Kardashian in birthday post after breakup reports

Just as America thought Khloe Kardashian and Tristan Thompson were done for good, we just got major mixed signals that have us thinking twice. In case you missed it, it was reported earlier this month that the parents of three-year-old True had called it quits. The news came just on the heels of reports that Tristan had been spotted spending alone time with multiple ladies at a birthday party, which, of course, with his history is pretty concerning.

Neither Khloe nor Tristan have spoken out with full statements on the latest infidelity rumors and the reports that they’ve split, though the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star has been sharing cryptic posts to her Instagram Story. Coincidence? We’re really not sure at this point.

Confusion now arises as Tristan has taken a moment to wish his baby mama a happy 37th birthday, and the message is a bit romantic. Doesn’t exactly sound like a birthday wish from an ex-boyfriend, but who knows?

Tristan Thompson wishes Khloe Kardashian happy birthday

In honor of Khloe Kardashian‘s big day, the Boston Celtics player took to Instagram on June 27 and shared a slideshow of photos of the two together. The first photo sees the pair dressed up and looking snazzy while Tristan gives Khloe a smooch on the side of her head. The next image is a more casual shot, showing the two lounging on a couch with Tristan blowing out some smoke. And the third is a family photo, with the two posing with their daughter True.

The photos are definitely more than friendly, but the caption is what really has eyebrows raising. “Thank you for being not just an amazing partner, mommy and best friend but also being the kindest, caring and most loving human being I’ve ever met,” Tristan wrote. “Your love and spirit is contagious to all who’ve met you. Thank you for always being there for me and putting our family first. I love you so much. Have an amazing day.”

Interesting, right? Tristan’s post has received comments such as, “Not sure love is the word for it dawg… u walked all over her very blatantly,” and “You don’t deserve her.” Another wrote, “This is actually laughable now.” Clearly, fans of Khloe are not happy with this post considering the recent rumors going around.

Tristan already wasn’t a favorite with KUWTK fans because of his awful history with Khloe, so this post does not make him look any better. Of course, whatever Khloe wants to do in her dating life is her decision, but people are wary to trust Tristan. We’ll be curious to see what happens next for this twosome.
