Khloe Kardashian would get back together with Tristan Thompson ‘in a heartbeat’ after their latest split

Khloe Kardashian is not completely closed off from dating Tristan Thompson again despite their recent breakup where Thompson was rumored to be cheating on the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star once again.

With the number of cryptic messages Kardashian has been posting on her Instagram, it seemed she might be completely swearing off dating the NBA athlete, wanting better for herself and her daughter, True Thompson. However, a source says that the love that this couple share isn’t going anywhere anytime soon.

An insider told US Weekly all about Khloe Kardashian’s openness to dating her ex-boyfriend once more, stating, “Khloe still loves Tristan and would take him back in a heartbeat.” You’re probably thinking that the pair will just get back together again then–well, it’s not that simple.

The source also says that the chances of Thompson and Kardashian getting back together again so soon is relatively slim especially with the KUWTK star shifting her focus to simply forming a better co-parenting relationship for the sake of their daughter. The insider shared:

"They spent pretty much 24/7 together and now that she broke up with him, they’re not around each other as much anymore. She’s trying to just adjust and transition into being friendly co-parents and separate her emotions from him."

Though Khloe is trying her best to move past her complicated feelings for him, it’s clear that the Boston Celtics athlete isn’t letting her go that easily. This past weekend, Tristan Thompson gave his ex-girlfriend a heartfelt shoutout for her 37th birthday and it was a post that would make any girl swoon. Despite such a huge declaration of love, it’s apparent that the Good American co-founder still has a hard time seeing past his consistent mistakes.

“They were doing well up until these girls came out saying they hooked up with Tristan,” the insider expressed. “She wants to be on good terms with him but is having trouble because she sees him as a cheater and thinks it’ll continue to happen if she takes him back.”

Clearly, Khloe Kardashian needs a little more than an adorable Instagram shoutout to take this basketball player back, but perhaps with a little more effort and a little less cheating, she would be all for getting back together with him again to live as a happy family with their daughter.
