Stylish as ever Kate Middleton, 39, – formally known as Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge – was pictured at Wimbledon on July 2, the fifth day of the Wimbledon Lawn Tennis Championships, two-week tournament, wearing a gorgeous navy blue and white ensemble.
The 39-year-old couldn’t get to Wimbledon last year due to the coronavirus pandemic, but it seems the Duchess of Cambridge is back with a bang! – as she made a surprise visit to Wimbledon on July 2.
Kate Middleton cut quite the elegant figure, during her unexpected visit, dressed in a tailored navy blue blazer, adorned with gold buttons on the cuff of her sleeves. She paired the blazer with a flowing, below-the-knee, polka-dotted skirt, in a lighter shade of navy, and a simple white t-shirt.
The future Queen of England donned a pair of white pump heels and carried a tiny white purse with her. While out and about in crowds the Duchess of Cambridge made sure to stay COVID safe! – keeping in tone with her outfit she opted for a floral facemask in navy blue and white also.
Kate looked to be in great spirit as she looked on at the tennis action unfolding before her on Court 14. On several occasions, she was spotted grinning and laughing with her companions, Sally Bolton and Tim Henman.
Later, Kate Middleton went behind the scenes to the kitchens and lent a hand to the All England Lawn Tennis Club Executive Chef Adam Fargin in prepping Wimbledon’s famous strawberry dessert.
As well as trying her hand at icing some tennis ball-shaped macaroons.
An avid tennis fan, Kate Middleton is patron of the Lawn Tennis Association and a regular attendee at Wimbledon, so it’s not too much of a surprise that she decided to stop by! She is regularly joined by her husband, Prince William or sister, Pippa Middleton, to watch.
She even previously attended Wimbledon in 2019 with her estranged sister-in-law Meghan Markle, 39, – though the Duchess of Sussex recently revealed, in an interview with Oprah, that it was a “staged” photo op by the Royal Family, in an attempt to “dissolve” feud rumours between the Cambridge household and Sussex.
