Britney Spears just can’t catch a break. The 39-year-old pop icon, fresh from a 24-minute court appeal over her 2008-commenced conservatorship, has since seen a judge deny her request to remove dad Jamie Spears as her conservator, with yet more drama going on over the weekend – this time, on the singer’s Instagram. Britney, who jetted out to Hawaii following addressing a Los Angeles court judge in late June, has been busy updating from her beloved Maui location, where a recent post brought bikini action from the “Toxic” hit-maker.
Britney Spears has bikini fun in Hawaii hotel room
See the video below. Britney, who made headlines after her appeal for admitting she’d been lying about being happy, continued to send out the happiness vibes she’s known for projecting. The blonde’s video, from her hotel room, came TikTok-style and as a mash-up, with the Grammy winner seen parading her fierce body in no less than three bikinis.
Britney, who wore a red, yellow, and pink two-piece in the footage, added pizzazz in high heels and even wore shades, sending out a smile, killer abs, plus a very simple sunshine emoji for her caption.
Over 10 million views have been logged. Likewise, she’s received a tirade of comments from the #FreeBritney movement, the one hell-bent on proving that the blonde has no control over her social media. Britney’s 2020 and 2021 updates sparked concern as fans accused the star of posting old or recycled content, with fans seemingly echoing the thoughts as they replied. Britney Spears fans ask who’s posting on Instagram
While “Free Britney” tops replies with over 14,000 likes, remarks accusing someone else of posting are also popular. “I wanna know who films these,” one fan wrote. “Who’s controlling Britney’s page?” was a response garnering over 4,000 likes. “The same person controlling her,” a fan replied.
Britney’s existence is, to a large extent, controlled by 68-year-old dad Jamie Spears. Her finances are on lockdown amid other aspects of her life, with the court appeal giving Spears the chance to speak for herself as she called the conservatorship “abusive,” said she’s been left “traumatized,” and even stated she’s been forced to keep in an IUD.
As to who may be filming the superstar, it’s quite possible that 27-year-old boyfriend Sam Asghari was holding the camera. He is out in Hawaii with Spears. Still, fans pushed for the control aspect. “Give Britney her account back,” one fan angrily wrote.
Following the hotel room video, Britney returned for a shorts and heels dance, joking that she was rusty on the moves-in-high-heels front.
