Kourtney Kardashian shares summer-centric and fruity bikini snap
Kourtney Kardashian has personally delivered her seal of approval as her 2019-founded Poosh lifestyle brand touts the benefits of intermittent fasting.
The 42-year-old reality star today sent out a big fat like as Poosh updated its Instagram with a summer-centric and fruity bikini snap, with the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star making sure her brand’s latest blog post gets the A-OK from the big boss.
On Monday, and after many Americans likely stuffed their faces over the 4th of July, Poosh reminded its viewers that being mindful of when you eat can be as important as what you eat – see why so many celebrities swear by the practice below.
Kourtney Kardashian swears by intermittent fasting
Poosh, which often features Kourtney herself and regularly includes high-profile celebrities from Bella Hadid to Emily Ratajkowski, is herself a big fan of intermittent fasting. In 2020, the mom of three made headlines for revealing she tends to stop eating by 7 p.m.
The newly-vegan star, this year divulging absolutely everything she eats – vegan blueberry bagels and acai bowls included – sent the thumbs-up to a photo showing an anonymous woman seated outdoors, in the sunshine, and wearing a skimpy pair of pink bikini bottoms. A plate of healthy and fresh raspberries on her lap signaled towards healthy eating, but the accompanying blog post today was about paying attention to hours, not calories.
“The Pros and Cons of Intermittent Fasting” featured Dr. Taz Bathia, who states:
"“The idea behind intermittent fasting is simple: you eat all your calories within a specific window—for example, between 12 p.m. and 6 p.m.—and you fast outside of that time. Switching between fasting and feasting can turn on your brain and improve cellular function across your body. A lot of people find it’s useful for losing weight, too.”"
Intermittent fasting, also adored by 52-year-old sitcom star Jennifer Aniston, adds to the list of diet trends Kourtney has put her all into. The star was famously keto for some time, calling the low-carb lifestyle a “really positive experience” in 2018. Two years later, though, the formerly gluten-free and dairy-free star called it quits with keto.
“It’s important to pay attention to what works for you, but the general rule of thumb is to not fast for consecutive days,” Poosh added in its blog post.
Fans, filling the comments section, largely seemed for it. One said they’ve been intermittent fasting for four years, calling it a “game-changer” as they tagged Poosh.
