Kim Kardashian announces she’s shutting down KKW Beauty

It looks like Kylie Cosmetics isn’t the only Kardashian-Jenner brand getting a completely new revamp as it was recently announced that the Kim Kardashian makeup brand, KKW Beauty, would undergo some major modifications to both the company itself as well as the products.

Starting August 1, the company’s website will be inactive to accommodate these new changes to KKW Beauty, which, while super exciting for the cosmetics company, is still rather sad for longtime fans of the brand to see.

Why KKW Beauty is temporarily shutting down

According to People Magazine, the brand is essentially starting from the ground up once more so that it can return better than ever with a new look, new and improved packaging, and an all-around new feel that would be closer to what the Kardashian always wanted.

“I’m excited to continue to develop and expand my product range and for you to finally be able to experience it the way that I have always envisioned,” Kardashian stated. “In addition, my team is hard at work to improve the customer shopping experience where you will be able to purchase my beauty and cosmetic offerings in all categories from one single website.”

The idea of blending all of the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star’s products into one website is definitely a smart move as it will make it easier for fans of KKW Beauty, KKW Fragrance, and all other related brands to purchase their products in one place.

In addition to some changes to the website, the four-year-old brand is slated to bring forth products that are environmentally responsible and sustainable. Of course, the celebrity’s brand isn’t saying “see you later” without some sort of parting gift. Just as the caption says, all products are currently on sale and will continue to be on sale all the way until midnight on August 1. (Go get your shopping on!)

We know it’s sad to see KKW Beauty leave for a while, but the cosmetics brand is sure to return better than ever with a new feel and possibly even a new name now that the “W” may no longer be at the end of Kim Kardashian’s name. We’ll have to wait and see, but we’re super excited!
