Carrie Underwood is crunching her mind-blowing abs for a little Instagram motivation. The 38-year-old country singer is fresh from dropping a new workout to her Fit 52 app’s Instagram. The 2020-launched app accompanying the blonde’s Find Your Path diet and exercise book is proving wildly popular, even seeing fans complain this year because the software was Apple-only (it’s now available on Android).
Carrie, who calls her fitness a form of “self-care,” appeared in a mat workout video designed to target the tricky abs area, and it was one fine display as the American Idol winner delivered oblique crunches while in skin-tight leggings and a muscle-flaunting tank.
Carrie Underwood shows how ab work is done
See the video below. If you aren’t up-to-date, Carrie has been making headlines for over a year as her guided workouts bring a new philosophy to working out – it isn’t about every workout being perfect, rather the overall effort that counts. The “Southbound” singer, yesterday engaging her core, was seen lying on her side while in olive yoga pants and a black top and repeatedly crunching her right side while keeping her feet solidly on the ground.
“Get your abs going with Oblique Crunches!” a caption alerted fans, asking them if they’re “ready to take your core workout to the next level?” Fit52 then touted its “Flash Fit,” a “quick sweat session focus on a specific target area,” all achieved in under 15 minutes. The ab move was, in the video, coined “MOVE of the MONTH.” See more photos after the workout.
Music isn’t Carrie Underwood’s only passion
Carrie is one busy lady. Alongside chasing after sons Isaiah and Jacob – this weekend brought woodlands blackberry picking with eldest Isaiah – the star is running her 2015-founded CALIA by Carrie clothing line, plus continuing to release new music. As to fitness, Carrie has spoken out.
Last year, and as Fit52 launched, Carrie stated: “Fitness is a true passion for me.”
“The fit52 app incorporates what I’ve been doing myself for years, and we’ve made it easy and totally accessible for anyone that wants help to work in working out. We worked really hard to create a high-quality, user-friendly app that is designed for busy people and their busy lives,” she added.
Joining Carrie in Fit52 workouts on the app is husband Mike Fisher.
