Scott Disick‘s fingers may be in some ice-cold water after he sent a couple of heated tweets in Colombian singer Maluma‘s direction. The exchange of words happened out-of-the-blue yesterday and fans are wondering whether or this feud is legit or if they’re just getting trolled by two popular male celebs who wanted to have fun on a random Tuesday afternoon.

After doing some digging, it appears that the Twitter feud was seemingly fake, but that still doesn’t answer the burning question of why the two had “beef” in the first place. We tell you everything to know about this brief yet passionate fight down below.

Why are Scott Disick and Maluma fighting on Twitter?

Apparently, Scott Disick stole what belonged to Maluma, which, as the “El Perdedor” singer believed, was a poor attempt at trying to mimic the lavish lifestyle of this award-winning musician. Check out the tweet sent by Disick that started the feud down below.

Maluma then replied via his Twitter account, “What’s up with you? You want to be me so bad that you try to take what is mine?,” which definitely sounds like fighting words if you’re looking from the outside in. However, in knowing that these two have been good friends for some time now, it’s more than likely that the feud was just a harmless publicity stunt between pals for an upcoming music video.

According to US Weekly, the musician is in the process of filming a new music video where Scott Disick will play the villain trying to steal Maluma’s girl. The girl in question isn’t Amelia Hamlin or the Colombian singer’s girlfriend, Susana Gomez, but is none other than the model Eden Fines; someone that neither Maluma nor the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star know well enough to have a real fight over.

Still, as the video has yet to drop, it does look like a legit fight especially after Scott called Maluma a “joke” and told him to “get over himself.” But more than likely there’s no actual bad blood between these two. We’ll be sure to let you know if tensions continue to rise.
