Selena Gomez has sparked worry over her health as she’s photographed on a Los Angeles boat trip with a possible love interest. The 28-year-old singer and Rare Beauty founder, fresh from the launch of her new La’Mariette swimsuit collab, was snapped right on the water over Fourth of July, with photos showing the ex to Justin Bieber with Italian movie producer Andrea Iervolino.

Gomez, who sparked 2019 dating rumors with Iervolino, was seen pretty bundled-up for a boat trip – at least, at first. The former Disney star, wearing slouchy dark pants, furry beige-and-brown slippers, plus a colorful and vintage-feel jacket, kept incognito behind dark shades. She later stripped right down to sunbathe in the purple accent swimsuit forming part of her inspiring new La’Mariette x Selena Gomez bathing suit collection.

Fans, who are well aware of the singer’s health troubles – Gomez underwent a 2017 kidney transplant for her Lupus condition – are now telling the trolls to keep their hateful replies to themselves.

Selena, possibly looking a little fuller in the face than usual, also sparked concern that her health may have taken a turn for the worse. Many seemed of the opinion that medication the star might take to control her condition has been upped. “Hey everyone, the medication she is on due to kidney transplant will make you blow up like a balloon,” a leading reply reads.

Selena Gomez fans question swimsuit snaps

It’s been less than a week since Selena stunned fans in her self-designed swimwear as she updated for her 242 million Instagram followers to celebrate “women who love their bodies unconditionally.” The PUMA partner gained over 7 million likes for debuting her collection, but viewers to the boat photos seemed unimpressed at the disparage between the paparazzi snaps and the Instagram account.

“This looks a lot different than any of the “un-edited” photos she JUST shared,” one fan wrote. Others, however, chose to point out that the bathing suit shoot might well have taken place “months ago.”

Addressing fans, Selena announced her range, writing:

“So grateful that I get the opportunity to celebrate my friends’ endeavors. My collaboration with @lamariette is out today!”

Gomez made 2017 headlines for successfully undergoing a full kidney transplant with friend and actress Francia Raisa as the donor.
